THOMAS ALLEN GRAVES; AUSTIN, TX; 10/25/2019 Thomas Allen Graves announces development of Screw Rocket Technology (SRT). SRT is a novel expansion rocket nozzle technology for use in various thruster and turbomachine applications. The new technology can use linear and/or radial screw shaped expansion chambers to expand gas or produce thrust throughout a curved, and progressively expansive pathway. The new SRT system has potential to improve or enhance existing machines and to facilitate entirely new machines. In the words of Graves,” SRT is one of my favorite systems. It could give us advantages in many aspects of machine design. Whether we need to drive an impulse machine or a pure reaction machine SRT may allow maximized thrust production with minimum materials and device mass. SRT could also allow for capabilities that were otherwise impractical or impossible.” This system can be applied to moving or stationary devices. It may offer increased design head-room. This system is part of Graves Captive Pulse technology portfolio and registered with the USPTO in patent pending status. SRT is intended to be part of numerous devices and machines, however Graves conceived the system primarily for use in powerplant and propulsion machines. The system may be scalable for use in the largest industrial machines. For more information about Graves or his work visit www.thomasallengraves.com on the worldwide web. |
